To the esteemed members of the Najran Chamber of Commerce,
Peace, mercy, and blessings of God be upon you.
With reference to the letter from the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce for Consumer Protection, No. 26179, dated 20/9/1447 AH, which included a circular to commercial establishments and online stores regarding the coordination of domestic and international Eid shipments in light of the current logistical challenges, and in reference to our shared responsibility to ensure the delivery of products by shipping companies through commercial establishments and online stores before the blessed Eid al-Fitr, and in light of the current logistical challenges in global supply chains and shipping routes, and in accordance with Article Fourteen, Paragraph Two of the Electronic Commerce Law (the service provider is obligated to inform the consumer of any expected delays or difficulties that may materially affect the delivery or execution of the contracted goods),
We request your adherence to shipping dates, for both international and domestic shipments. The final date for receiving international shipments from shipping companies is 20 Ramadan 1447 AH, while the final date for receiving domestic shipments is 25 Ramadan 1447 AH.
Therefore, we inform you of this for your information. Online stores and commercial establishments are required to inform consumers of any difficulties hindering product delivery and to provide them with the option to cancel the contract. This ensures the legality of commercial operations and protects consumer rights.
With my sincere regards,
Secretary General
Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al Mansour
