The French Consul General in the Kingdom Visits the Chamber
On behalf of the Chairman of the Board of Najran Chamber, Mr. Badr bin Hamoud Al-Majal, the First Vice Chairman of the Board, Mr. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Khamsan, received H.E. the Consul General of France in Jeddah, Mr. Mohamed Nahid, accompanied by Ms. Lisette Choukri, Cooperation Attaché at the French Consulate General in Jeddah. The reception was attended by the Acting Secretary-General of the Chamber, Mr. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Mansour, and took place at the office of businessman Mr. Ali bin Nasser Al-Qadi at the Chamber’s headquarters.
This visit comes within the framework of strengthening economic relations between the two sides and opening new investment horizons for French companies in the Najran region, particularly in promising sectors with rapid growth and diverse opportunities. The meeting reviewed the investment opportunities available in the region and sectors attractive to French companies, in addition to exploring ways to enhance commercial and economic cooperation, discussing the possibility of delegations exchange, and coordinating programs to introduce the investment environment in the region. The meeting also covered supporting partnership initiatives between the private sectors of both countries to achieve mutual interests and enhance the presence of French companies in the Saudi market.
Al-Khamsan welcomed the Consul General and his accompanying delegation, affirming the Chamber’s keenness to support economic cooperation and facilitate access for French companies to the abundant investment opportunities in the region, contributing to attracting more investments and promoting development.
For his part, H.E. the French Consul General expressed his pleasure in visiting the Najran region, emphasizing his aspiration to enable French companies to benefit from the competitive advantages of the region and seize the available investment opportunities, especially as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has become a key destination for global investments across various sectors.
At the conclusion of the visit, Al-Khamsan presented commemorative gifts to the Consul General and his delegation as a token of appreciation for the visit and its potential for future cooperation.
