Najran Chamber, in cooperation with the Saudi Water Authority, hosted a workshop aimed at improving the quality of services provided to non-network water beneficiaries and enhancing operational efficiency. The workshop was held in the presence of the Acting Secretary-General of the Chamber, Mr. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Mansour, along with a number of officials and investors.
This workshop comes as part of the development program to improve non-network water services in the Najran region. It addressed the regulatory roles of the Authority and the transformation initiatives aimed at raising compliance levels and improving service quality through filling stations and water tankers. It also discussed the current situation, technical and operational challenges, and reviewed approved regulatory and oversight solutions.
Additionally, the workshop highlighted the licensing system of filling stations (Ashyab) and the technical and regulatory requirements for obtaining permits. It also showcased available investment opportunities for the private sector and development plans aimed at enhancing service quality and improving operational efficiency. The workshop witnessed significant engagement from the attendees.
