Najran Chamber’s Sports Committee Discusses Challenges Facing the Sports Sector and Community Sports

The Sports Committee of Najran Chamber held a virtual meeting chaired by the Committee’s Vice Chairman, Mr. Hussein Wabran Al-Khuraim, with the participation of several committee members. The meeting discussed the key challenges facing the sports sector and community sports in the region, particularly the shortage of sports facilities and fields, as well as the limited number of sports events and activities.

The Committee also discussed a number of proposals aimed at enhancing sports activities in the region, encouraging community participation, and expanding sports programs and events to support talent and promote sports participation among different segments of society.

The Committee recommended increasing sports events and programs, encouraging community participation, and coordinating with the Najran Regional Education Department to organize an inter-school sports week in cooperation with committee members, with the aim of identifying and developing sports talents and promoting a culture of sports among students.

These efforts are part of Najran Chamber’s commitment to supporting the sports sector and strengthening partnerships with relevant entities to contribute to the development of community sports and increase sports participation across the region.
