Najran Chamber, in cooperation with the National Center for Vegetation Development and Combating Desertification, hosted a training course titled “Management of Environmental Disasters and Crises” at the Chamber’s main headquarters. This initiative is part of the joint efforts to raise environmental awareness and enhance capabilities in dealing with crises related to the environment and vegetation cover.

The course aims to enable participants to understand the fundamentals of managing environmental disasters, methods of prevention, and mitigation of their effects, in addition to reviewing the best national and international practices in this field.

The course also addressed the importance of vegetation cover in reducing environmental risks and its vital role in maintaining ecological balance and combating desertification.
