The First Deputy Chairman of the Najran Chamber, Mr. Salem bin Mohammed Al Khamsan, participated in the activities of the “Cooperative Sector Forum in the Najran Region,” organized by the General Administration of Cooperative Societies at the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development. The event took place at the chamber’s headquarters under the gracious patronage of His Highness Prince Jalawi bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Governor of Najran Region, may God protect him, and in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Malfi bin Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi, Deputy Governor of the region, along with several leaders and stakeholders interested in the cooperative work field.

The forum witnessed the opening of an accompanying exhibition featuring pavilions of several cooperative societies, where the societies showcased their initiatives, successful experiences, and diverse products that reflect the capabilities and potentials of the cooperative sector in the Kingdom.

During the forum, an open panel discussion was held to address the current state of the cooperative sector, the opportunities and challenges it faces, and ways to develop and enhance its role in achieving the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, particularly regarding expanding the base of cooperative work and enabling societies to achieve sustainability.

At the conclusion of the forum, the  Najran Chamber was honored for hosting the event and in recognition of its role in supporting cooperative sector activities and strengthening partnerships with government entities and the local community.

On this occasion, Al Khamsan emphasized the importance of such meetings in opening new horizons for cooperation and exchange of expertise, affirming that the chamber will continue to support all initiatives that contribute to the development of the region and activate the role of the cooperative sector in the national economy.
