On behalf of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Najran Chamber, Mr. Badr bin Hamoud Al-Mua’jil, the First Vice Chairman of the Board, Mr. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Khamsan, received at the Chamber’s headquarters the Ambassador of the Republic of Malta to the Kingdom, H.E. Dr. Clive Aquilina Spaniol, in the presence of the Acting Secretary-General of the Chamber, Mr. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Mansour.

The meeting discussed aspects of trade and economic cooperation between the Najran region and the Republic of Malta, as well as ways to enhance bilateral relations in a manner that serves the interests of the private sector and opens new horizons for trade and investment exchange.

At the Businessman Abdullah bin Kharsan Al-Mukhlis Hall, the Chamber presented a visual presentation that included an overview of its activities, services, and initiatives, in addition to a comprehensive review of the key investment opportunities available in the region and its competitive advantages. The presentation highlighted promising opportunities in the fields of mining, agriculture, tourism, and logistics services, along with other sectors that reflect the vast potential of the region.

H.E. the Ambassador expressed his delight with the economic and investment potentials he had witnessed, stressing his country’s interest in expanding areas of cooperation and opening new channels for trade and investment exchange with the business community in the Kingdom in general, and in the Najran region in particular.

At the end of the visit, Mr. Al-Khamsan presented a commemorative shield and symbolic gifts to H.E. the Ambassador, in appreciation of his visit and in affirmation of the Chamber’s keenness to strengthen ties of cooperation with the Republic of Malta.

In a statement on this occasion, Mr. Al-Khamsan affirmed that the Najran Chamber is keen to continuously enhance its presence on the national economic stage and to build effective partnerships with various friendly countries. He pointed out that the region’s natural resources and advanced infrastructure make it an attractive destination for quality investments across diverse sectors, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030
