Najran Chamber Organizes an Introductory Workshop in Collaboration with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing on the Qualification Service and the Application Mechanism via the "Balady – Business" Platform.
Najran Chamber, in collaboration with the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, organized an introductory workshop titled: "Introduction to the Qualification Service and the Application Mechanism on the Balady – Business Platform, and Explanation of Standards and Requirements" at the Chamber’s main headquarters. The workshop was attended by several private sector representatives, including owners of engineering offices.
The workshop was presented by a specialized team from the Ministry, who provided a detailed overview of the steps and procedures for applying through the "Balady – Business" platform and the electronic services available within it. It also included a comprehensive explanation of the qualification standards and requirements necessary to practice activities in the engineering sector and related fields.
During the workshop, key regulatory updates and new procedures were reviewed, aimed at facilitating the investor journey and improving the quality of services provided. The workshop aimed to raise awareness among investors and service providers in the engineering sector, enabling them to understand the regulatory qualification requirements and effectively utilize the Balady platform, while also promoting direct communication between the private sector and government entities.
Additionally, the workshop sought to support digital transformation efforts in municipal and housing services and streamline procedures in line with the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to improve the business environment and enhance service efficiency.
The Chamber continues to prioritize organizing such events and introductory workshops that contribute to developing the local business sector, strengthening partnerships with government entities, and enabling investors and business owners to stay up-to-date with new regulations and updates, while benefiting from electronic services to achieve growth and sustainability for their projects.
