The Najran Chamber of Commerce received His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadley, in an open meeting with the business sector and a number of citizens in the region at the Chamber’s headquarters. The visit came within the Ministry’s efforts to strengthen direct communication and promote partnership with other entities as well as with stakeholders and beneficiaries.

Upon his arrival at the Chamber, His Excellency was welcomed by the Chairman of the Najran Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Badr bin Hamoud Al-Muajal; the First Vice Chairman, Mr. Salem bin Mohammed Al-Khamsan; the Second Vice Chairman, Mr. Saeed bin Mohammed Al-Zanati; Board Member, Mr. Abdullah bin Salem Al-Mukhlis; in the presence of the Acting Secretary-General, Mr. Ibrahim bin Abdullah Al-Mansour.

During the meeting, the floor was opened for the business sector and citizens to present their questions and inquiries directly to the Minister. The discussions covered the region’s needs for water projects, challenges faced by farmers, investment opportunities in modern agriculture and livestock production, in addition to issues related to environmental practices and the regulation of natural resources.

His Excellency the Minister engaged with the attendees’ inquiries, noting that the Ministry is working according to comprehensive plans aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, aiming to enhance the services provided to farmers and investors, and to encourage innovation in sustainable agriculture. He further affirmed that all feedback raised during the meeting would be taken into consideration in the Ministry’s future plans.

For his part, the Chairman of the Najran Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Badr bin Hamoud Al-Muajal, stated:

Al-Muajal further emphasized that such meetings help strengthen trust and build bridges of cooperation between government entities and the private sector, in a way that serves the comprehensive development of the region.
