With Al-Mukhlis in attendance: A Saudi-Canadian Meeting
The Saudi-Canadian Business Council at the Federation of Saudi Chambers organized an extensive meeting attended by Mr. Abdullah bin Salem Al-Mukhlis Al-Yami, Member of the Board of Directors of the Najran Chamber, Vice Chairman of the Saudi-Canadian Business Council, and Chairman of the Council’s Health Committee. The meeting also saw the participation of several representatives from Canadian companies and their counterparts from the Saudi private sector, as part of efforts to strengthen economic and investment cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The meeting featured a range of activities and events, including B2B meetings, introductory presentations on key areas of collaboration, and discussions on investment opportunities in the Kingdom. It also included joint discussion sessions between representatives of both sides. Additionally, the agenda covered topics such as expanding academic and training cooperation, the possibility of establishing regional offices for Canadian companies in the Kingdom, opportunities for local manufacturing of medical devices and supplies, and reviewing digital transformation initiatives in the healthcare sector.
In a statement on this occasion, Mr. Al-Mukhlis emphasized that the meeting reflects the strong and enduring relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Canada, noting that the Saudi-Canadian Business Council aims to strengthen economic partnerships and broaden cooperation between the business sectors of both countries in various fields.
Al-Mukhlis added that Saudi Arabia has become a global destination for investment, thanks to the unlimited support of its wise leadership and the ambitious strategic plans aligned with Vision 2030. He pointed out that the Kingdom’s unprecedented economic and developmental transformation has created a promising investment environment and unique opportunities for international partnerships that contribute to knowledge transfer, technology localization, and the development of high-value industries
